Bhutanese momos
Bhutan · South Asia

Momos are filled wheat-flour dumplings eaten in Bhutan and elsewhere in the Himalayan region. Meat fillings can use minced pork or beef with onion and cabbage; a vegetable version combines cabbage, onion and cheese. They are commonly steamed, with some versions fried after steaming to give the outside a crust.[1]
Momos are sold in street stalls, local eateries and hotels. They are served hot with ezay, a Bhutanese chili sauce, and sometimes with soup. A combination of momo and thukpa noodle soup is known as mo-thuk.[1][2]
