Privacy policy
Gochizu keeps the game lightweight and collects only what is needed for gameplay, friends leaderboards, daily comments, account recovery, share invites, VIP archive access, and aggregate site measurement.
Public game data
If you record a score, your username, accepted friends list, friend-scoped daily rank, total score, exact count, best-guess country summaries, daily comments, VIP badge status, and profile score trend may be visible to accepted friends or where your profile is shown.
Stored gameplay records
We store daily scores, round scores, round detail data, and daily comments so leaderboards, comments, profiles, archives, and stats work consistently.
Account and email
Usernames are stored with a private session token hash. Friend requests, accepted friendships, hashed share-invite tokens, invite redemptions, and daily comments are stored so friends leaderboards, friend-visible comments, public profile friend lists, and invite links work. Email is optional, used for login and verification links, and is not shown on profiles or leaderboards.
VIP checkout
VIP purchases use Stripe. Gochizu stores checkout, customer, payment status, and entitlement references needed to grant or revoke VIP archive access.
Service providers
The app runs on Cloudflare/OpenNext infrastructure and may use Cloudflare email delivery, Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate cookie-free page-view, referrer, and performance metrics, and Stripe for payment processing. Gochizu does not use ads, ad pixels, or user-level behavior tracking.
Retention and control
Leaderboard, account, friendship, invite redemption, and daily comment records are kept while they are needed to operate the game. You can ask for help, deletion, or corrections at the contact email below.
