Far breton

Far breton is a baked milk-and-egg dessert from Brittany, with a prune-filled version. The prune recipe combines flour, sugar, salt, eggs and whole milk into a smooth, fluid batter. Rum or vanilla can be added as optional flavouring.[1]

Pitted prunes are arranged in the bottom of a dish greased with lightly salted butter, and the batter is poured over them. The dessert bakes until browned on top, then cools before serving at room temperature or slightly chilled.[1]
