Lángos

Lángos is a Hungarian fried bread made from yeast dough. Baker Gábor Pászner’s version combines wheat flour, yeast, salt, sugar, olive oil, milk and water. The kneaded dough rests before it is divided, rounded and flattened.[1]

After another rise, the pieces are stretched to their final shape and fried in plenty of hot oil. Pászner lists sour cream and cheese as optional toppings.[1]
