Paprikás csirke

Paprikás csirke is Hungarian chicken cooked in a paprika sauce. Tímea Tarjáni’s preparation uses bone-in chicken browned in oil and butter. Onion and garlic cook in the same pan before sweet paprika, flour and stock are added. The chicken simmers with parsley, red peppers and tomato.[1]

Once the chicken is cooked, sour cream and the remaining parsley are stirred in off the heat. Tarjáni serves it with nokedli made from flour, eggs and sour cream, shaped into small pieces and boiled in salted water.[1]
