Kumpir

Kumpir is a large baked potato served with toppings chosen by the customer. The soft interior is mixed with butter, salt and cheese before additions are placed over it. GoTürkiye’s İstanbul guide names kaşar among the cheeses used and lists toppings such as sausage, boiled maize, olives and pickles.[1][2]
The dish is part of İstanbul’s street-food repertoire and is particularly associated with the Ortaköy neighbourhood near the Bosphorus. Stalls there offer different combinations of toppings, including salads and other garnishes.[1][2]
