Bakso is Indonesian meatball soup. Beef and tapioca flour are common ingredients; chicken, fish, pork and shrimp versions also exist.[1]

The broth may contain rice vermicelli, vegetables, tofu, bean sprouts and meat dumplings, with fried shallots, celery or fried wontons.[1]
